First day of a fresh new year, can't say I'm loving it since I'm now terrified at the speed of time. Hmph, i still remember the time we celebrated our gloomy spirit-less christmas at Lake Toba and that was last year. dang.
Well, yesterday's countdown was uh,
We went down when it was 10 minutes to 12 but we couldn't really move at all since it was so packed. Everywhere, teenagers are busy spraying those silly strings and white foamy spray thing to random strangers who were being wild and gay (as in happy just in case u get the wrong idea). LOL, it was so wild i almost couldn't believe at the way adults even behave with their white and soaking body shouting and spraying everywhere. I was sprayed once and then i scurried to the sidewalk with the rest of the people who can't have fun. Im not saying that they dontknow how to have fun, I'm just merely stating that its very weird of them not to join the fun since if my friends were here. Oh man, i would already be one of those people in the crowd acting like I'm drunkk. that would be so funnnn.
anyways,i don't remember having a countdown actually -__-, the fireworks just erupted out of nowhere and then i hurt my ears from everyone cheering so loudly. Unfortunately, we couldn't even see the fireworks since they exploded in the other side. So basically, no countdowns and fireworks that we can't even see. Haha, in the end, we tried to dash for our hotel entrance without getting soaked or whitefoamy-sprayed by those partying teenagers and it took us almost 25 minutes to wait for them to be unaware since they really spray at everyone.
The streets were SO trashy i feel sorry for those who will be cleaning them up, on a NEW YEAR. Whoa
