I was on 9gag 4 minutes ago when i came through this picture of Nick Vijucic. He's this man who was born without arms and legs, yet he enjoys life. he's so inspiring, i mean look at us. We're complete without any missing body parts, sheltered and provided with clothes, daily needs and stuff, yet we tend to complain and go 'xml' every time. When actually, it should be nick who should complain, and even if he does, who can blame him? It isn't very comfortable born without legs and arms. There are TONS of countless thing you can't do , a lot, if you think of it.
he has became international now, giving inspiring speeches to millions of people! But what makes me happy is that i remembered he once visited our old school! Omg, it was like years ago but there he was, at the top of our old dirty blue stage talking to the whole school which wasn't that much students back then. Ahh, i was just a 2nd grader and i don't think i understood well what he was saying but i was in a complete awe when he showed us his amazing moves like picking up a phone, jumping and stuff. He seemed so happy um, standing, not exactly standing.. perched there looking like some statue you'd see in museums grinning at us while he tell his story at a small group of people. Lots of people got tear eyed and i was a bit steamy in the eye myself. in the end, a bunch of people line up al blotchy in the face taking turns to have a hug with this amazing guy. I joined in too, even though i was practically the youngest one lining up and hugged that inspiring dude who lives life to the fullest accepting him for who he is even at that state. Oh wow, i don't believe he bothered to accept the invitation of a school here in Medan! and that i actually touched him! It feels really exciting, i don't know why, seeing a famous inspiring guy in a website who once stood in your school and you hugged him. omg, now i feel guilty.
