spending my ramadhan holida  at the simple city called Penang, it pretty much has the same atmosphere as Medan except its way way wayyyyy cleaner (like seriously) and that it has more choices of entertainment to choose from.  Well, what i've been doing is pretty much shop and shop with mom and sis  while dad 'patiently' waited outside with that straight face so we can desposit our stuff to him afterwards. To be honest, me and my sister havent been really keen on the idea of a vacation to Penang cause we've spent like 7/10 of our vacations there. And to recall all my Penang 'memories', i can only see myself nodding to sleep in gloomy depressing medical hospitals for endless hours and of me sitting in a doctor's office barely listening to what the doctor was saying in Chinese.

THANK GOD THERE WAS AN END TO THAT. Mom set up 3 hotels for us to stay at this time, and its pretty neat cause each stay was a whole different atmosphere.

Like our first stop was E&O hotel. I love that place cause it was built back in the 1800's so the decoration and hotel room was all equipped and beautified with reallly vintage old fashioned stuff, it feels like living back in the old times, with their flicking switches, checkered tiles,  chandeliers etc. i was thrilled when i found out Charlie Chaplin, Mary Pickford, Rita Hayworth and some dead american actor with John F Kennedy's face stayed here before.But really, the only thing the place lacks is servants with those vintage uniforms.

We stayed at Holiday Inn, so its a whole Bali-like beachy atmosphere cause if you look up, you can see people para-sailing, speed boating and such. speaking of that I was dying to parasail but unfortunately, i have a fear of heights. Oh well, maybe in the future. But it literally eels nothing like being in Penang, i spent hours playing alone in the shore like a loner while the rest of my family stayed under the shades doing whatever they were doing.

Im currently at G hotel right now where the wifi's free ;) but well since there's a mall located literally just next door, its obvious what we've been doing. Shoppings good cause i can buy anything i want with a decent price yay
