* Nervous Feeling

Today was the day for the Prefect Investiture . Since i had passed 2 b one, im suppose to call mom to come to school today at 9 to put on my tie. We've practised the same routine over n over again for the pass two days n the standing for hours was tiiringg....

I was feeling pretty nervous while we lined up to get ready, entering the MPH. My! Almost the whole school was there! Of course im nervous!
N i look at my watch, 9 30, mom hadsn't arrive.

I told Cynthia. She told me to think positive, easy 4 her to say,! :Look! Her mom's here! No need 4 her to worry!

the cceremony bgan. I walked nervously smiling shyly a bit while walking. Jane n Winny called out my name, they were just bside me. I couldn't help but let out a giggle.
It go on n on. Talking of principal, speech of vice principle, there r always speeches of them in every events. Time is ticking ticking.
There was a guest of honor, Mr.Salomo Ginting, A father of a prefect coming to share us his xperience of being a prefect. Mom came at that time. She kept signalling me signs of Smile! or Sit straight!. Huiiih...
Mr.Salamo 's talk has nothing to do with prefect's xperiences. The sentence(s) ive heard more than 3 times was

Then it was time for us to take the floor. As they pronounce my name, i gave a scared look to Cynthia b4 moving on.
Our moms clasp our tie ends together.
I hav to admit, i feel really proud n important weraing it.
More n more students..
IT;s KAtie's turn. I hav to say that her style is getting more hau sui. Hmm..

Selina Irwan from class 5A signed up for being a Prefect!

Oh no Selina,.wat on earth hav u done? U cant order children! Its not tat i love children tat im afraid 2 order them. its tat i think i don hav the guts 2 talk fiercely 2 them even though mum says tat im the best in doing tat at home n clas. True.^^

I didn't even know y i did it! Its tat Mum has always encourage me 2 join lik my Katie. She says we wil change our characteristic to the better n helpful one of we join. I look at Katie n she acts al proud n important. I wouldn't want tat kind f characteristic! Bsides. i c no change, if i do, her name wil b Weird Katie.

Wel Tr.Avic the prefect teacher was jus announcing that those who r interested in being a prefect pls come 2 her in free time. i was lik wanting 2 say. Pff, dun joke. But i was completely shock wen lots of my clasmates wanted 2 join. Double shock wen Zenny n Winny told me they wanna join n i should 2. Even boyys, wanted. Since my bffs r going. I simply hav no choice. i dun wan them 2 look down on me.

So i thought about the gud things 4 signing up.

2. IF i passed. Mayb prefect camp wil b great!
