* Hachiko, a dog like no other

In 1924, Hachikō was brought to Tokyo by his owner, Hidesaburō Ueno, a professor in the agriculture department at the University of Tokyo. During his owner's life Hachikō saw him out from the front door and greeted him at the end of the day at the nearby Shibuya Station. The pair continued their daily routine until May 1925, when Professor Ueno did not return on the usual train one evening. The professor had suffered a heart attack at the university that day. He died and never returned to the train station where his friend was waiting.

Hachikō was given away after his master's death, but he routinely escaped, showing up again and again at his old home. Eventually, Hachikō apparently realized that Professor Ueno no longer lived at the house. So he went to look for his master at the train station where he had accompanied him so many times before. Each day, Hachikō waited for Professor Ueno to return. And each day he did not see his friend among the commuters at the station.

The permanent fixture at the train station that was Hachikō attracted the attention of other commuters. Many of the people who frequented the Shibuya train station had seen Hachikō and Professor Ueno together each day. They brought Hachikō treats and food to nourish him during his wait.

This continued for nine years, with Hachikō appearing only in the evening time, precisely when the train was due at the station.

I watch a movie about it and the title is HACHIKO itself and i tell you, it's a heart-breaking story....

Dont you think that this dog is like a dog like no other? he is sooo loyal. I cant believe going and waiting at the same spot everyday for 9 years just to wait for the return of his beloved dead master. I wouldnt do that, its totally an impossible thing for a person like me to do. What i would to is simply just helplessly sob all day long and pray and cry and moan and wail and well maybe have a tantrum for no reason. Totally helpless huh? But really thats what I, a normal human would do...but surprisingly, this DOG would never give up, not losing hope. He kept on waiting on the same spot, same time until he died. Hachiko is an amazingly unbearable cute dog, i have to admit it did look a lil' bit like my dear Pomeranian Prince who also died like a year ago .

Before watching the movie, my sister was telling me " you'll cry like crazy when you watch it. I promise. If you didnt shed a tear. My BlackBerry is yours.. Okay?" since she already watched it with her friends and they all ended up crying too. I didnt really believe her cause i didnt always cry at movies cause one, well i rarely watch movies and two, i sometimes hold the tears back keeping them from falling cause crying infront of your friends or family is a bit of humiliating because, i dont know what to react next after the movie ended and they noticed my tears...

But well, i think she might be serious cause her BlackBerry meants a lot to her. Its like her soul, her air , her heart or idk whatever. She cant live a sec without it. So giving it up might be a BIG deal to her.

Guess what, i did cry. I cried simply a few streaks of tears , but in my heart. I think the tears i cried in the inside might be enough to fill up my whole body with tears. The story, god its such a sad story.., how powerful love is, and his loyalty toward his master. There's even a bronze statue of him honoured for his loyalty. But the statue, unfortunately is really ugly.. so unreal and unrealistic.

Gosh, if i was the governor of Japan i would ORDER the best sculptress to sculpture the statue , not some rookie who only can shape it. ckckkckckk...

Oh btw, if you havent watch the move yet. I have a few announcement to make. Be sure you have a tissue or hankie with you or better yet the whole tissue box . Or maybe you might need a bucket. No a pail...a bucket would overfill in 4 seconds flat. Okay thats all i guess. Its for your own safety.

lol
