66th independence dayyy

Happy Independence Day everyone!

well not really everyone, indonesians but yeah ;)

so we celebrated it at school and of course, everyone had to wear red and white.

seriously, it took me a long time find a red top and white pants since i don't really like wearing those colors… and any patch of denim is not allowed so yahh.

but why must our flag be thaaat simple xD its like divided into half and filled completely with red in one half and white in the other halfff. that simple :(

i like unique flag designs with great colors hehe but it doesn't matter sooooooo…

eh well i don't really know what else to sayyy

oh, I'm really happy that theres NO S C H O O L tomorrow like whooooooooop!

i H A T E school so much, well i have an english essay about ghosts but ohh well.

well, I'm gonna stop here.

so well, i dressed up all black from head to toe with some silver dangling earrings.

we went out for dinner with my grandma n grandpa from poppa's side and i dont really like the restaurant they chose.

the foods terrible for me.

all i tasted was water since i was actually swallowing those food with the help of waterrr.

and yeahh, i also got new clothes like everyone does, i like em' all since they're all blackkkkkkkk.

i love blackkkk.

so i really cant wait for tomorrow since, HOHOHOOHOOO, thats the day ya'll kool kids would be given money without asking.

•Dog = ahhh everyone knows why! a dog is the BEST friend. sooo cuddlyyy yet cute and loyal! well, a big dog is definitely a 'NO' for us cause our house aint suitable for jumbo doggies.

Well, its December now and im pretty sure that in some lucky places where all four seasons occurs, children would be having such great fun now.
ahhh im SO jealous they'd probably be making snow angels on the snow, having school day offs, sippin' on hot chocolate (:p) snowboarding, sledding, ice skating , snowball fighting , and building snow men etc..
ITS SO NOT FAIR SERIOUSLY.

Well, im just soooo grateful it wasnt one of those crowded dark noisy weddings where they would be dozens of screaming singers and rocking dancers performing onstage till you bore to sleep but cant because of those annoying loud speakers. And with those kind of weddings, the MC has to shout. Boooo

But this was the first time i realised that THIS IS HOW A REAL WEDDING SHOULD BE. Quiet and peaceful, not to crowded, touching and well romantic >:]

I cried for awhile there (secretly of course but it wnt be a secret no more ) when Celine cried, and also when the perfect couple bent down to hug their parents with tears on their face .

There's a priest, a wonderful choir with such beautiful voice, flowers on the floor, looking through glass and stuffs.

The church was sooo beautiful

( i know i kept saying the word beautiful but who caress :/)

One dissapointment was instead of saying : " I do"

they said " Ya, saya bersedia"

which is the same thing in different forms~ :(

Mom snapped pictures, and she snapped a few which involved in people with tears :(

But i enjoyed throwing petals to the happy couple when they skipped through the aisle laughing :D

For Halloween's sake, im gonna use RED text. No hate kays?

Ugh, why arent there any Halloween celebration in Medan? Its not really fair ya know...
I mean, Halloween is such a greaaaaatttttt celebration! You get to dress up as someone, well just anyone or even something! A mummy, Ke$ha, fairy, princess, fish tank, robot you name it~

And then, you get to meet up with your friends and happily, you guys would spend happy enjoyable moments ringing on neighbour's doors, yelling: "trick or treats!" and accept the goodies they will offer. Its a great day for kids, adults are serving 'em :p
and at the end of the 'trick or treat' thingy, you would have a basket full of yummehhh goodies for you to gobble.

I'd love to dress up as KESHA, but unfortunately, INTERESTING stuffs like that dont really happen 'here'. Try knocking on one of your neighbours door and try saying 'trick or treats'.
They WONT give you candies, they'd stare at you like you're some freakish creature with 6 heads and say stuffs like :
" Ha?"
" What do you mean? and why are you wearing that hideous costume?"
" what do you want?"
" looking for something?"
"you must gone into the wrong address"

and slam the door in your faces

and i wished that the school would 'AT LEAST' come up with something interesting for halloween instead of just wearing masks and just tossing candies to the little kids who are like piranhas grabbing for those candies like what we p6s did. BUt yeah, at least something was done :)

* SIS independence day celebration

Well, so today, at school, we celebrated Independence day .
Yeah, and of course we were all wearing red and white outfits to show our honor to our um, country.

So started my day by waking up with half closed panda eyes at around 6:45.
*yawnnnn*
Directly ran up to the music room to practise the marching band thingy by the time i got to school. i play the lyre with my friends and thats the reason why i have sore arms after carrying these heavy instruments for like an hour. You know, the LONG MARCH stuff?

Before the LOng March, we had to listen to some Indonesia related talks by Bahasa teachers, sing some patriotic indonesian songs, recite the 'proklamasi' and all those sorts of stuffs you usually do at events like this. :) Oh, and there was a play/drama too about (of course) indonesia related thingy, i didnt really understand everything and didnt even know what its all about since
• i was chit chatting with friends
• we were sitting in the baaaaaaaaack.
•im to0 short
• mic problems?

After that was foooooooooooooodd time~
Awwww, Too bad there was no junk food =( Just some Jennifie breads, Jellies, cakes, fried rice and super sweet syrup drink.
(I met Zennia's lil' sister Aila and god she's soooo cute! :D)

Next was the FUN AND GAMES time! :D
im joining the sack race =(, well i wanted to join the tug of war actually but.. yeah im too thin and the people joining is limited . But, luck came to me and i found myself joining them pulling the sweaty rope with faces like a buffalo's. And the teachers didnt notice.

ANyway, despite all our energy used, and power.....
WE lose.
Sec 1 won =(. We all toppled down in a couple of seconds anyway. Aihhh..
AND I GOT MY WHITE PANTS DIRTIED.

i lose again, and nearly fell during the race since i accidentally jumped with a toe bent and goshhh it hurts so badly. Thats why i look like a maniac when i was jumping in the filthy sack. talk about embarrassing. :P aauuuuuuuuuuu

So since im almost fried that time, me and some friends made a great escape to the 'forgot to turn off the air conditioner' classroom and played this crazy but fun game!

with the lights closed and their eyes closed, we tortured them by wiping jellies on their face, shoving a bread to their mouth, pushing their chair all around, and etc.
In the end, one of them, which is BOIN, ended up with mocha cream or whatever flavor that is on his cheeks and stick face. hohohhohhooh >:]
One of them even got jelly on thier back. ew gross.

For their revenge, i had to smell like 3 stinky shoes, have crackers bits sprinkled on my pants, a syrup spoon knocking my head , a mango on my pants and some tickling. Ha-Ha!

My pants were spotted with mud and yellow stuffs at the end of the dayyy
as i if i cared
i dont really like white pants anyways..

OMG! Do you know what day is it today?!

Yes, its Friday, the 16th of July and its in the middle of the vacay and its another typical boring day.

But as for me, no, its not really a typical boring normal day.

Well, i kinda remembered that i started this blog among the month of June/July since those months were one of the days my dear-a-year-dead-2nd RIP puppy. I remembered the reason why i even started blogging. Its for Prince.

And so, i started hunting for my very first readable post and its dated July 15th.

Hey its my blog's birthday today! :D Well not really today, yesterday but oh well!

HAPPY ONE-DAY LATE BIRTHDAY BLOGGIE!! ♥

It's one year old today~ wooohoooo~ it had came this far! XP

Well anyways, back to my Prince Death story

I recalled having a great trauma when i heard this news from my Mother's iPhone, a text message from the Pet Store which we left Prince at since we had to fly to Spore for a vacay and we couldnt bring him, it was a long sad message full of sorrys. And you know why they were apologizing like mad?

Two simple words:

Prince died.

And would you believe what a shock i received? I burst out crying like a leaking faucet. I had only spent 6 whole days with him, yep just 6 days from the day we happily brought him home from the Pet Store and to the day he met his death. just 6 days.

And i couldnt even say a goodbye to him! Well true, before we left for Spore, he had been weak and sick and i had cried too but i didnt know it was a sign of death! He was just a month old!

I couldnt bear the fact that he's death as in d-e-a-t-h , until this day on, i still miss him terribly.

His wet nose when he's sniffing our hand.

His cute little paws rubbing at our palms

His naughty non-stop barks which is enough to wake the dead.

His whining when his hungry.

His soft fur which i used to love running my fingers through when he's sprawled on my lap.

His short legs running when me and him is having a chasing game around the house.

His eyes looking so innocent.

I miss everything. Life's been great and merry when he's here.

I started having dreams about him being blessed and going alive again.

i've been wanting a pet as long as i can remember~

And i made this blog to express my feelings on a post about a letter i wrote to him.

This is Prince.

he was burried in my driver's house since we didnt want sad memories to be stuck in our heads.

I WILL ♥ YOU FOREVER PRINCE, YOU'RE A PIECE OF PUZZLE TO MY HEART THAT WILL NEVER BE REPLACED. ♥

*The Legend of the Mid-Auntumn Festival Concert

So the concert was kinda a success, and according to my mama, it was brilliant and 'hao kan' only that we didnt have that much of audience like we usually had since not the whole school is performing and some parents because their child arent performing, refuses to go. Mom would do the same thing though, but she actually said that luckily i was taking part in the concert or else she wouldnt get to watch the concert. Yeah, but she was late and missed 3/4 of the show due to an annoying traffic jam. Well, she missed the sun-shooting scene and the 'Feng Meng attacks Chang Er' scene, but good thing she watched the Moon part, the moon's really beautiful.

Too bad Mom wasnt fast enough to snap it. awww

My dance was presented on the last part, which is a good thing, everyone will be able to see us! hohohoho~, well i guess i committed some errors in the dance and thats not smiling aaand nothing else. One error i guess.

Mom had plaited my hair into 2 braids with 2 ribbons which my friends kept cooing 'cute' and which Calvin said its 'weird' and which i thought made me look like a p2. Oh wait, i already look like a p2.

Zennia looked like a doll with her eyebrows idk looking so dark and gorgeous, and her white 3 layers powdered face and her curly hair which i loved very much. She looks soooo pretty!

Jane was looking pretty cute too, with the hairstyle she styled herself ( according to her, am not sure if its true though ) and her unique chinese dress . And she was smiling nonstop during the concert.

SO, people have been telling me :

" nice performance, but why arent you smiling?"

" you didnt smile Selina!"

"selina ya, wei shen mo mei you xiao?"

" You should smile you know when you're in stage! Anyway nice performance"

"hey, next time SMILE."

" oi Selina, why didnt you smile?!" ( that was Jane)

" great dance but you didnt smile!"

and so on... honestly i really forgot to . It was just like i forgot i wasnt smiling and then smiled but the noticed i wasnt smiling again. Its not my fauult, my mouth rules me! LOL

Well, Mom took pictures of me looking unhappy and frowning, giving me a hard decision of which pictures to post. oh wow, i DO look horrible!

Anyway i think i talked enough.

* PAC MAN 30th Bdayy~!

Pac Man, you know him? Oh, yes i know him very well. He's a close friend of mine, we connect in the computer and NDS. Im his true friend, ive been helping him avoid from the bad guys by pressing the arrows in the keyboard. Yeah i failed a lot of times and all i have to do is helplessly watch him being attacked by one of those alien looking baddies~

well, its a nice game. Pac Man, pleasee of course you've heard of it! He has been roaming around the Earth for yearsss! He's kinda old btw, yesterday was his 30th b'day.

I just found out when i surfed Google Tide, and YouTube, everything was shouting " ITS PACMAN's 30th ANNIVERSARY!

and Google, wow. You know, in every occasion, google would stylize its logo to some weird ones depending on the occasion.

Well, today and yesterday, it was stylized to a PacMan version, so if one of you freaks who've never heard of Pac Man, you have the chance to play it in Google. Just go to google.co.id. Click on the logo and start playing. It's really hard, i played for 8 times and those aliens kept attacking PacMan.

* Birthday Girlll!!

YEs! the day i turned 11! aaand why should i feel happy anyway? Im just one year older and still is in the same height, but well, look at the bright side, i survived my 10 th.

I dont really expect presents, im not greedy people!! Maybe greetings would be a pleasure, many people at school greeted me happy b'day especially The funny Ms.Sandy who led a song number, and cameras. I mouthed Thank you back...after all, im touched and shy at the same time and there's nothing else i can think of at that particular time. And Facebook, well lots too and thats really touching! It just shows that some people are wise to waste their time to go to my wall and post a happy greeting to me :)

Some even gave me present! Well thats a WOW, i mean, im not throwing any party or asking for anything and they gave! That made my day, i didnt expect this, what i expected was just me staying at home, with Aunt's present ( cake) being eaten and Mom's birthday noodle and present opening, and maybe, a call from grandma. But presents!

Oh yes btw, i might as well show you the presents. :)

The striped bear was from Julian, cute huh? i love the stripes!what do u think? the chalkboard was from Katie, really i didnt expect she would give me anything as nice as this, i didnt even expect any greetings! The chocolates are from Edward, hehe, i love chocolates yum! Pink Teddy, from Kyu-Hee the new student! i barely know him, thats really thoughtful of him , pretty cute and cuddly looking right?
