Holaaa :)

so today we went to some grassy area just behind our complex and took some photos there.

It was for fun btw, not for some serious business. Its better than hanging at home for hours doing nothing... ugh thinking of it..

anyways, we bought ballooons and stuff as props.

you know, cause ive seen models standing in grassy places with lots of balloons in their hands floating and its really pwetty.

but ugh, our balloons didnt really cooperate that well..

first of all, we didnt use helium gas ( which enables balloon float ) but normal pumping gas.

and we went there with 5 pwetty balloons, but before we even managed to shot a scene, a balloon popped mysteriouslyyyyyy.

and then after 10 minutes, we had only one pink balloon (surviver o.O)

but anyways, we pumped more and let it hang on trees so it wouldnt be poked by the tall grasses and pop.

and ugh, there were alot of human beings staring btw...: \

so the results are hm... welll, i guess i kinda like them lol.

so ive got a confession to sayyy~

i've always love the movie 'Little Mermaid' and my dream is to become a mermaid.

their life looks perfect.

they look so pretty in their mermaid taila and the ocean looks so friendly, beautiful and bright its just sooo wonderful.

and they have beautiful shiny long hair that they could style with shells or flowers or whatever and sea castles that stuff.

and the animal creatures there look friendly and nice but if you look at it in real lifeee *creepy*.

and they could just swim around all day with no school, lessons stuffs like that.

welll, sometimes, i still wish i was xD a mermaid i mean.

but a different kindd, my hair would be like long and brownish blond with coool purple-blue highlights xD my tail would be purpleee oh yeah

even though her fish tail looks obviously like a cloth since her knuckles could be seen and it doesnt look too fish-like. ahh too bad such a shame :(

So, a friend sent mom an email regarding about this brilliant boy like a week ago.
It's a video actually, of a young 13 year old boy from England who was called Declan Galbraith. He's now 19 , but during the time when he made that video, he was just 13.

He wrote a song about something he's desperate to know, like why people let the forest burn, why people dont give a helping hand when someone's in need, and does he really need to live a world full of war, stuffs like that. Its full of 'whys???'
"TELL ME WHY" was the title anyway.

Well, he must have expressed it really great cause it was amazing !~
He wrote it, sang it and recorded it. And his voice was like an angel's, faaaaaaaaaaaaaaaar better than that bieber.

When i first heard it from the other side of the room when mom was playing it, i actually thought Connie Talbot sang it, you know, the 5 year old singer? It sounded like a real girl's voice! but it was an amazing one ~

* Celina and Ken's Wedding Invitation

Remember those photos i'd posted like months ago about a daughter of mom's close friend Celine and her husband-to-be 's pre-wed photoshoot? Yeahhh~?? :D Hope you do cause their invitation were sent to Mom today and MY werent they gorgeous!!!

It wasnt like some normal fancy wedding invitation. Not at all.
What i love most is this picture where the happy couple is peeking out from a large cardboard with 2 pictures. One was them holding a 'YES' written on a paper all smiling and happy, the other one was ' NO ', bothe sad and puppy face~
aih never mind, you'll get to see it later.

Weddings dont really interest me at all, i always chose not to go. But Celine's wedding made me sooooo excited to attend~ after the awesome photoshoot and invitation~ the wedding will be held at BALI!!! Not at Benteng or Ria Or Grand AngKasa! BALIIII

* Yay! Times on medan!

Okay so i'm really happy right now, so is Katie and mom. Us, the three bookgeeks.

Well, the reason of our happiness is that finally, like really FINALLY: there's an all-english bookstore right here in medan. Times bookstore

Not another Gramedia again. Some good reasons and bad ones!

Good Reasons

1. No need of flying to other countries just to bring home boxes of books.
2. the books there are pretty much similar to the ones sold in Spore.
3. cheaper! and all of them are wrapped~ not filthy and torn and smelly like the ones in Gramedia
4. well, i just love books! full stop.

And for some bad reasons:

1. The store is just a temporary one. Not really in a good condition place yet. You know, they wanna see whether business would be good or bad.
2. too little books!!

But the best thing is that , i dont really have to use that amazon.com website anymore to order books , cause this TIMES bookstore in MEDAN offers to help us order just ANY book that will arrive in 2 weeks times! O god how great is thaaat!

Well, me Katie and mom had just had our first trip to Times and we've already bought a few books!

So, if you're some bookfreak like me, hope you're happy too! I dont want this place to be closed!! :(

* The abandoned Violin of mine~

So, well, Katie has been lately torturing me with her Piano Playing which happens every after-breakfast, after-lunch and after-dinner time practically EVERYDAY!

I dont even know what had inspired her so badly that she has been going soo obsessed with the P-I-A-N-O, one of my enemies. I mean, she had always sworn that she hated the piano, she had quitted Piano Lessons years ago before i was crazy enough to quit too . Well, its a deep mystery~

So, it kinda remind me of the lovely beautiful violin i owned like 3 years ago. I wanted to learn violin since i thought it looks pretty when someone's playing it but pretty soon, got bored of boring violin lessons so thats the reason why i quit it too. I remember i used to play like a...a..a..., i dont have right words to explain how horrible i sound. What i can recall CLEARLY is my aunt saying : "My God, hearing you play is like losing eardrums" when she came over coincidently. Aww, poor me.

SO after like 3 years? i suddenly remember my precious violin after seeing the EXTRAORDINARY PANTENE commercial ( 2 posts down , scroll down) since it has violins involved.

And i yelled excitedly ( not rudely) at my maid demanding where my violin is, and now i have them at my hands.

i have tried countless times playing it but i sound like nails being scratched a chalkboard, its EXACTLY how i sound. Try scratching a nail on a chalkboard and you'll know.

I closed the doors in case someone heard and lose their eardrums!

Anyways, here's my darling violin~

* Fiji Island Vacation ( Dreaming)

This is the SUPER AMAZING island i'm now having a SUPERB time at: FIJI ISLAND!
Good thing there's Wi-Fi in the Villa, at least i can still surf the internet while enjoying my time here!

Well, Mom and Dad just shocks me yesterday, they were like : " Pack up a.s.ap! We're going somewhere great which we're sure you both are going to be pleased." which really made me and Katie really curious, reaaaally curious especially since Mom and Dad had said we wont be going anywhere this holiday. Even though we begged for a clue of the place where we're going, MOm and Dad had their lips sealed.
And then about hours of plane ride and ferry rides, we finally set foot on this uh-mazing heaven at 11 p.m at night!

Fiji Island is one of the place that have been on my wishlist for like years ever seen i've seen a picture of it on some random magazines in the salon, it had absolutely blue sparkling clear water and white clean unbearable beaches with Palm Trees and shells and everything!
It's a total-heaven, i CAN'T BELIEVE I'M ACTUALLY HERE!
Well, the first day a.k.a today, i had a superb great time, i had played in the the sand and kept some sand in a bottle for memory with a few pretty tiny shells, i know= stupid!
And snorkeling, i also snorkeled! It's kinda creepy for me at first since there were various kind of colorful and grey colored sea creatures swimming with me but i held on to Mom and Dad while swimming and i wasnt that scared anymore since the creatures didnt really bother me.
Katie was too scared to snorkel, but she tried for like 10 minutes but after a purple colored fish suddenly nudged her in the face and a nemo-look-alike fish nibbled her feet, she actually screamed and refused to snorkel anymore. Sheesh~

the weather here is great too, not too hot or cold, kinda windy and sunny at the same time, which is perfect for a floating-in-the-waves session with a smoothie in your hand.

And the villa or hotel or wooden house that we;ve been staying on is perfect too, though i dont really like the bed since its too hard but aside from the hard-stiff bed, everything's satisfying.
They even provided scented bath salts for a bathtub bathe! Food's not really fine though, its kinda unusual, i dont even know the name of the dishes served.

Well, i guess i better go now! Gonna go chill in the private tiny pool of our tiny house for awhile and get some sleep for tomorrow.
Tomorrow: we're going to go shopping!

Okay, seriously, im just fooling around. I did not go to this HEAVENLY Fiji Island nor snorkel. This is just a picture of my imagination right now. Im staying at plain old Medan! BORING!

* Newborn!

Went to Gleni Hospital at 4:30 pm with mom and Katie to meet my new newborn cousin who was born today at 9:25 am! I especially cant wait to see him, he has been the subject of our talk for weeks and months since i noticed Aunt Ali' stomach getting bigger. And wow , was i excited, well actually everyone was. Me and Katie have been annoying Mom by always asking her about 'the baby baby baby' but heyy , i bet you'd react the same way if a baby that's gonna be kinda yours is right there in the hospital waiting for your visit.

Well, i was pretty jumpy and talkative during the trip from home to hospital and when i finally saw the baby, i was 'struck' and 'frozen' in my spot where i was standing near to the baby. OMG, he is soooo lovely and adorable and of course cute, all babies are cute. I nearly bumped the crib when i was rushing to him. He was 4.4 kg , wow.! I was just 2.7 kg. Figures why i am so thin :o

I have touched his skin and face and hair and yes its soft indeed, everything's felt as soft as clay and his skin was like powdery which is so pleasant to touch! We were all cooing at the baby, i almost forgot about Aunt Ali who was in the hospital bed looking really tired.

When the baby yawns, or coughs, or sneezes, or screams, or wails or cries or sleeps peacefully, everyone would stare at him like he's some worthy treasure. Mom and Dad must have felt that way too when i was in his case. SO innocent and pure. awwww

SO, Edbert was officially part of this world now. Brother of Yolanda and Keane. Son of Aunt Widya (a.k.a Aunt Ali) and Uncle Henry .

Well, no i am wondering. WHen the heck am i gonna let these adults trust me and lemmee have a chance to have Edbert in my arms. Katie had the chance when she was 10 and hey i am now 11 peoplee, time to trust me now!

Looking innocent and peaceful. Im dying to know what he might be thinking or feeling right now. Does he even know that he's sleeping in a looking through crib with eyes glued on him?
