And, somehow a little bit mad.
I mean, shouldnt mom buy my painting instead?! Thats what a mother should do actually, but when i was just there..standing in the stage holding my ugly undone painting, expecting mom to have her hand raised so i wouldnt stand in shame, she just kept quiet there , sitting and smiling.
Ms. Inah, asked mom from the stage if she would like to buy it but mom, she just sat there and shook her head and hand. She's embarrassing me, standing on the stage with no one to buy.
And guess who bought it. Ms.Gina, the very kind teacher who also bought my painting last year. Seriously, it was sold for rp 275! thats too hiighhh for an undone, messy, ugly work. If i had the choice to pick a price, i would make it for like Rp 50.
But Rp 275?! i can feel my cheeks blushing when Ms.Inah and Ms.Gina fought through prices.
And in the end, Rp 275..
Oh man, Ms.Gina's such an angel.
Still, it should be MOM who bought it! She's my mother! and instead, she bought Jane's.
yeah, Jane's work is really nice and mom bought it with no regretting but but..-
ITS NOT FAIR!
okay okay, cut it out selina.
Actually, its alright if no one bought it. Cause seriously, i just drew that work for u know, fun, i never knew it would be even chosen. But i just wanted to know d reason.
-===---====----========
At home, i 'demanded' mom for the reason:
" ma, why did u bought Jane's work instead of mine?"
And she replied:
" well, think of it. If parents only buy works of their child, what would happen? thats not part of helping then. Mom bought Jane's work to support Jane..."
and so on and on, i forgot what she says next, but you know her point right?
yeaahh..maybe she's right.
Jane's awesome work bought by my very own Mama
the ugly undone messy work of mine surprisingly bought by Ms.Gina
